The Anthrocon Board will soon be deciding on the Charity to support for 2010. If you know of a charitable organization that you would like to recommend be added to the current candidate list, please suggest it here or on the Anthrocon website forums by December 31st.
Criteria for candidacy:
- Must be animal-related (exceptions possible)
- Must be 501(c)3
- Must be within approximately 60 miles of the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan area
- Must be incorporated in Pennsylvania (can't be in Ohio or West Virginia)

Left 4 Dead two comes out in a few days, I am so excited. I really enjoyed the first one. I've already pre-ordered and pre-installed it through Steam so Im ready to go, just waiting for them to unlock it. I love Technology.
I also upgraded my computer with a new 1tb barracuda hard drive from Seagate. Now I have lots of space to fill with useless stuff. Hooray!
Here, have a drawing of a cute husky attempting to bowl. As you can see my camera has developed some spots on the lens that I can't seem to get rid of. Very sad now I have to replace it.

Art related jobs have been terribly scarce as of late and so I'm relying on commissions to feed myself. My bank account is not looking too healthy or happy and I'm hoping to fix that. o.o
I am trained in animation but I prefer to do character design. I specialize in animals and beasties and love dragons and other mystical creatures. I can do people too but they're not as good as my animals in my opinion. Backgrounds can also be iffy but I'm working on it. I'm willing to try out various different styles to get look you want.
Most of my work is done digitally but I also like to sketch in pen.
Yay, icons! Going at US3-5 bucks a piece.

Hello All! I'm opening up for icon commissions for the Holiday season! They will be starting off at $3.00 each paypal.
You will get a 100x100 version to use as an icon, and also a bigger version somewhere between 200x200 and 400x400. All Icons will be digitally coloured. Backgrounds are simple, and I can create combined icons for you and a friend if you'd like. :3

I can't do anything digital for a while since my computer broke (I'm currently using my boyfriend's) so I'm opening for a few traditional ones to help pass the time and buy Christmas gifts. I'm offering Christmas-themed headshots (all of them will have a Santa hat and a candycane) for $5, +$2 if you want them shipped to you. Slots will be open until I'm bored of doing them, but I'll only be accepting payment in sets of 5. :) If you want one, comment here with your refs.
They'll have a quick turn-around time, and will be colored with Prisma markers and shaded lightly. I can add a name, if requested, and you may also request lamination if you are having it mailed to you and want to use it as a badge.

Firstly, I just want to say that I adore this community! It's so refreshing to talk to people who think in a similar way.
So I imagine this subject has probably been so over-discussed here that most of you are tired of seeing it, so I do apologize if you are reading this and rolling your eyes at the dryness of it. This is my first time posting, though I've been lurking/commenting for some time and have not seen many recent posts about this. I read through all the memories relative to this but I'm not quite satisfied yet. I am at such a wall and I desperately need help. I've researched every major and regularly meet with the career counselor but am at such a loss, and the counselor is even becoming wary of my indecisive INFP ways. I have a lot of interests, I'm just not sure which I should pursue.
I would really love to hear what your undergrad major is/was, and (if you feel like it) whatever feelings/experiences you have pertaining to them. Comments/input of any sort is welcomed and appreciated!

Yeah, I live in Los Angeles, and my boy is in San Diego... And sure, we have AIM and Skype... but in person is better, so that takes gas monies! That's where you come in!

Hello all!
So basically, these commissions go by your budget. You tell me how much you want to pay, and I'll draw you something of your choice depending on how much you pay. For really small amounts of money, you'll get a sketch, and if you pay more you get a more complex and detailed picture. You know. It should be pretty self explanatory. XD Also you decide if you want an actual drawing or if you want a badge, but if you want a badge we will need to discuss shipping (which is extremely inexpensive anyways). :]
I can do digital art and traditional, of course! If you want a traditional picture I can mail it to you and you get the option of whether you want it coloured with prismacolor markers or pencil crayons~
Another option is you just tell me what you want (drawing, ref sheet, badge, etc) and tell me how much you want to pay for it and as long as it's reasonable I'll more than likely go for it. XD So if you have something in mind, ask away!
I do have a job, yeah, but I only work twice a week (with school and all) soo I'm really not bringing much money in. And I need money ASAP if I hope to get my ass over to Anthrocon in 2010! D: I also need to buy Christmas presents for all my friends and family... sooo yeah I sort of need commissions if I ever want to get any of these things done. XD;
My waiting list is cleared as of recently so I have unlimited slots and will get the art done ASAP. :) Note me/comment if you have any questions or if you're interested!

Today I suffered the lost of a very beloved pet, and I really just want something to get my mind off of stuff for the next few days...
So! I'm taking five slots for badges done in this style:
 
My scanner messed them up pretty bad, but I'm sure you get the idea. They're roughly 4x5, and will be stylized/shaped to whatever fits well with your character. I have tons of scrapbook paper to use as backgrounds, so I can find something that works well for just about anyone.

Me again!
I'm reopening icon commissions, though I'm only going to take a few since I'm still hacking my way through Nanowrimo.
I'm going to start these off at $6.50 paypal each. You don't have to include a service fee. Please do -not- use the gift option to pay me.
You get a 100 x 100 cropped version, and a bigger version that will be somewhere between 200 x 200 and 400 x 400px. I haven't been paying attention to how big the original doodles are and would prefer to not have to. XD

Miko's Wheelchair fund! Help my dog walk again.
My dog, Miko had an accident and fell down a step and slipped a disc in his spine. This means his hind end is completely paralyzed. The vet said he won't walk on his on again.
He needs a wheelchair to move around, at this point in time he's unable to get up to drink or eat on his own without help. He can't go to the bathroom without aid either. His pain is being managed by medication to help him, but there's nothing else medically they can do, there's just too much damage.
A wheelchair for him will be $200. I am taking commissions(or donations) that will go solely toward his wheelchair. I HAVE MADE MY GOAL AND MIKO IS GETTING HIS CHAIR! THANK YOU ALL WHO PITCHED IN AND HELPED ME AND ESPECIALLY MY SIDEKICK AND BEST FRIEND.

Hi Livejournal! Sorry I've been so inactive, I really don't have an excuse I guess I've just been taking a break from all the madness that is the fandom. I like you all(furries in general)but sometimes you do crazy things like host publicly advertised X-rated parties or go on tv shows proclaiming your perversions and that really makes me not want to associate with you. But I know that's not fair because a large number of you are such nice people I feel bad being so distant and reserved, its just something I need to work on I guess I hope you'll forgive me.
But I'm still around, Still working on my badger. No he's not done yet. Yea I know its been like 2 years :) Good things are worth waiting for though rite?? So yea, He is coming along bit by bit and I thought I should post a picture as proof of his existence :) At this point I'm done tearing him apart and rebuilding I've done that enough I think. He's had several sets of eyes, several head shapes and a few jaws. But now the head is almost all furred and I have moved on to the detail bits like teeth, tongue and of course his nose. His nose shape is not finalized yet that is still being worked out. It will be large and squishy that I can guarantee :)
So what is left, well the nose of course, the mouth insides and some pieces around the eyes and the neck. They body is about 70% done but I need to redo parts of the chest I am not happy with the way it turned out in my rush to try to finish by AC. So I have to remake that and then make his paws. So not to much left, rite? :) Yea... I figure he will first appear at FCN next year and then of course he will be at AC. I know I've set and missed deadlines before but I am setting this one in stone!
I've been working on a few other projects, One of them is a new head for Woofers. Something smaller with better vision similar to the badgers head. Also a few small updates to Woofers body and paws to make him fit better.
So that is my update LJ, aren't you so proud of me! I have been doing a bit of drawing lately, might be posting some of that in the next few days will just have to see what happens. |
